How does pool play advance to the playoff?
You choose whether the top 2, 4 or 8 from each pool go through. The same finishing position from each pool partners up, so the #1s team together and meet the #4s in the first playoff round.
What is the difference between rotating-partner and fixed-pair pools?
Rotating-partner pools rank individuals, so everyone plays for themselves. Fixed-pair pools rank teams. Skinny singles tiebreakers apply only to rotating-partner pools.
Do I need DUPR ratings for pool play?
No. Ratings are optional. Add them if you want balanced pools and closer games; leave them blank for casual club nights.
